Cookie Policy
- Introduction
Oknoplast Sp. z o.o., headquartered in Ochmanów (hereinafter “Oknoplast” or the “Company”), places great importance on the privacy and security of all individuals visiting websites managed by the Company.
This document presents the most important information regarding the use of cookies on our websites.
- What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on the device of a user browsing a website, such as a computer or smartphone. They are commonly used on websites and offer many useful functions for both you and the website administrator.
- Why do we need your consent for cookies?
If you want to use all the features available on the website, we need your consent to use cookies. It’s important! Thanks to cookies:
- we ensure the security of our websites,
- we display the website and its basic functions to you,
- we improve the performance and efficiency of the websites,
- we enable access to YouTube videos and social media on the website,
- we optimize website performance through statistics,
- we remember user preferences such as language settings,
- we understand your interests and can personalize content to better match your expectations.
If you accept all cookies, you will be able to fully enjoy the website’s features and help us improve the quality of our services. If you do not give any consent, we will install only the necessary cookies, and some features will not work—for example, you won’t see YouTube videos or blog comments on the site.
You can also manage the types of cookies you agree to in the panel displayed when visiting our website or by clicking the link in section IX below.
- What types of cookies are used?
Cookies serve various functions that not only help us maintain the website’s operation but also make it easier for users to navigate and use it.
You can find a detailed list of cookies used on the website in the “Details” tab of the cookie management panel and in section IX below.
We use the following types of cookies on our websites:
- Necessary
Necessary cookies are essential for the proper and basic functioning of the website and cannot be disabled. They enable navigation, ensure security, and allow access to services such as the contact form or login. The website cannot function properly without these cookies.
- Preferences
These cookies allow the website to remember your selected settings and help us improve the site’s functionality to better suit your needs—for example, your preferred language or region.
- Statistical (analytical)
Statistical cookies analyze the number of visits, traffic sources, and how visitors use the website, allowing us to improve its performance. The information collected by these cookies is usually presented in anonymized form as aggregate results, such as the number of page visits. If you do not consent to these cookies, we will not be able to optimize the site or monitor traffic, which is crucial for effective site management.
- Marketing
Marketing cookies help us deliver content and features that interest you. For example, we use these cookies to enable features like video playback (YouTube) or social media plugins (Facebook), and the providers of these services may use the collected information for their own purposes, which you can read about in their respective privacy policies. These cookies may also be used to display ads and tailor content related to the Oknoplast group based on your interests, and to prevent showing you the same ad repeatedly. We use this information for our own purposes and do not sell your data to third parties, although some cookie providers listed in the “Show Details” section—such as Google or Facebook—may use them for their own purposes.
- How long are cookies stored?
Cookies may be:
- Session-based – stored temporarily while you use the website and automatically deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent – stored even after closing the browser for a period defined by the cookie owner.
You can find the storage period for each cookie in the “Details” tab of the cookie management panel and in section IX below.
- Do other entities use cookies?
We use both our own cookies and those from trusted service providers such as YouTube, WordPress, and Google.
We use the information collected by cookies solely for our own purposes. In the case of handling your inquiry or presenting an offer, a selected Business Partner or another company from the Oknoplast group may also access the information collected by cookies and your personal data, if it was provided to them by Oknoplast to assist you with Oknoplast products and services or to contact you in response to your inquiry or for marketing purposes, if you have given consent.
If our Business Partner acts for their own purposes, such as selling their own products and services, they are an independent controller of your personal data or the information collected by cookies used on their own websites—and are solely responsible for their actions.
Additionally, some cookie providers—such as Google, Facebook, and YouTube—may use them for their own purposes, which you can read about in their privacy policies linked to each cookie in the “Details” section or in section IX below.
- Do cookies collect my personal data?
The answer depends on the type of cookie. Generally, cookies do not collect information that qualifies as personal data, i.e., information about an identified or identifiable individual.
For example, statistical cookies that collect information about page visits or analyze site traffic usually do not constitute personal data, as they are anonymized, statistical data that cannot be linked to a specific user.
However, some information collected—such as through marketing cookies that track your interests based on content you search for on our site, or through analytical cookies—may constitute personal data if it can be linked to you as our customer or someone who has consented to marketing contact, e.g., via the device ID where the cookie was installed.
We ensure the security of this information and use it solely to handle your inquiry and for our internal sales analysis. This helps us understand what interests you in our products and allows us to offer personalized content. This way, you are more satisfied with our services, view content that interests you, and save time. Remember, we use this information primarily to enhance your satisfaction with our services.
For more information about how we process your personal data and your rights, please read our Privacy Policy.
